What's so great about wool dryer balls?

I like products that aren't full of chemicals/ingredients I can't pronounce.  I like products that don't irritate my skin or my daughter's and husband's eczema.

Those are some of the main reasons why I make and sell wool dryer balls.

So why are they better than dryer sheets?  Let me lay some facts out for ya:

*Wool dryer balls reduce static
*Reduce drying time (and out here in Germany with small dryers...that's a big deal!)
*There are no added chemicals, so no skin irritation (I can scent them with essential oil for you!)
*They last a year or MORE!  Yeah, you don't have to throw them away after each use...dryer sheets are a big waste of money.
*They are hypoallergenic, they don't shed in the laundry.
*If your kid gets a hold of one, it's not a big deal...because again...no chemicals!
*100% eco friendly

So, you save money, get a ton of use out of it, and fluff/dry your clothes naturally?

What's not to love?

Frequently asked questions:

*How many should I use for each load?
I typically use 3-4 for each load.
*Can I use them back to back?
Yep!  I'll dry a load, and use the same ones for the next load.
*What if I like dryer sheets because the are scented?
Super, I like a good smell to my laundry too!  If you choose to, I can scent your dryer balls with essential oils.  Once the scent runs out, you can just add 3-4 more drops of oil to the ball.
*What's the difference between these and the plastic ones I've seen online?
Well, the plastic ones can emit smells that can irritate the lungs.  Using them so much in a hot dryer isn't good for you.  They also do not dry clothing effectively as they are just plastic and simply fluff the clothing.

Interested in getting some dryer balls for yourself?
Each ball is $5/each and I will add a scent for you with essential oil if you choose.

Another happy week

Normal week here in Germany.  The weather has been totally fantastic, so Monday AND Tuesday, I got to open a ton of windows in the house and air it out!  It's been gray pretty much every day since October, so the sunshine is a completely welcome sight.   We also live in a village surrounded by woods and nature, so we get to go out in it whenever we want!

We also have a running championship competition.  First one, we had a Mario Kart competition.  Last night, we played Star Wars Monopoly.

Yeah, we dressed up.  I had a Star Wars tank on.  That's how we like to roll.

We are gonna check out the Spring Festival in the nearby bigger city today after we drop off our overnight guest back at his home.

Totally forgot to post last week.

It's saved in my drafts. I just never got to posting it after making it.  Oh well, whatever.  This week/weekend was more interesting anyway.

First, I am really excited that I ran at a faster speed and for longer than I ever have before.  I think I would have been able to keep going, but I got excited and forgot to control my breathing. ha!  I was quite proud of myself, especially because I HATE running.

Another heart check up on Friday.  Back in October, the battery life had 16 months left. Then in Jan, it only had 8 months!  They were worried that I would have to have surgery in April.  Got it looked at and discovered that I still had 6 months.  Still have to have surgery this year, but it's not draining as fast.  Part of me thinks that it's due to not only eating well, but working out more and getting more physically fit.  I've always been in relatively good shape, but now I'm actually working on being fit and it's definitely helping me in more ways than just appearance!

Went back to Heidelberg yesterday.  Instead of driving, we took the train and it was REALLY easy!  (really fun too!)

Train was easy to do. No wonder everyone uses it around here!
Someone was a little sleepy when we first got there...
At the castle!
