Busy
Busy
Busy
Busy.

That's my life right now.  We've got so much going on, I have no idea how we get done what we do!  I've been planning Delilah's birthday (because we are flying home to MO for it!), and that's been so much fun.  It's a Beatles themed party!

I've gotten a few orders recently, and so I've been crafting as well.  I've also made some paintings as part of the decorations for her party.  Here they are:

I'm working on a "Here Comes the Sun" one as well.

My friend Landon designed the invitations and they are AMAZING.  I ordered them tonight.  I wish I could upload them here, but there are a few unsavory people that read my blog, and I don't really want them knowing the details of the party.  I'll post them after the party.

Things I'm looking forward to:
*Breaking Dawn/raspberry margaritas with Ashley
*A trip home

Good-night, everyone.

I have gotten so much done around here lately!  I've been going through everything and making a pile of stuff to sell at a yard sale.  Just trying to get rid of stuff we don't need.  There's a lot of stuff in this house that we don't need.
As much as I am ready to leave, it's bittersweet.  I mean, I don't want to live in this town anymore, but it was our first home...where my daughter was born...where we got Otis....where we got Margot.  We've had some fun adventures.  It's just time to move on.  Time for new adventures for the Ward family.

Last weekend we went out to Alamogordo to visit some friends.  It was amazing to be around people that we are actually friends with.  We had such an wonderful time, and it was sad when we had to leave.  I wish they lived closer to us.  Drinking, BBQing, games...just an easy night.  Makes me miss having Colsie and Cooper.  I miss just being able to hang out and listen to music with some drinks.  Seems like a lot of people that are left and just intent on getting as drunk as possible as quickly as possible.  Oh well.

This week, we bought our tickets to go home to Missouri for Delilah's first birthday.  I'm doing it in a Beatles theme.  At first, Ben was giving me a hard time about how much in depth I was going into, but I think he'll be super impressed when he sees the end result.  He's already happy with the invitations that Landon designed for me.  I gave him a general idea and the text of what to say, and he put it all together for me.  I'd love to post it online, but I'm not sending invitations out to everyone...and I don't want it to be like an open invite.
I painted a picture as part of her decorations:

I'm trying to decide what other paintings to do.

Delilah is napping, so I'm taking a moment and writing in the blog.

Both dogs are just staring at me like weirdos right now.  I think they're trying to communicate with me that they'd like me to put some pumpkin in with their dog food today.  I can do that.  Weirdo dogs love pumpkin!

I'm starting to do some Christmas shopping.  I haven't ordered anything yet, but I'm trying to do some shopping on Etsy this year.

The weather is one amazing outside today.  Cool and rainy.  Perfect hoodie/jacket weather.  Delilah and I have some errands to run, so I'm excited to get out in it!

Cool shopping story yesterday:
I ordered some sweaters online from American Eagle.  When they got here, I discovered that they were too big (yessss).  Yesterday, when I went to get my heart checked up, we dropped by the mall to return them.  I'm not really sure how it happened, but they were more expensive when rung up in the store.  I was able to exchange the 3 sweaters for:
*work out pants
*work out shorts
*t shirt
*cami
*lace tank
*gray shirt
AND
I got almost $10 back!  Pretty gosh darn awesome!

Anyway, all is well and I'm off to finish getting ready for the day!

Every day, it's a gettin' closer!

Updates:
*Getting my heart checked up this week.  It's past due...
*Cleaning cleaning cleaning the house, trying to get ride of as much as I can before I start packing stuff up for Missouri!
*Watching the elections is depressing.  Unless Gary Johnson wins, it's going to be Robamney...and we're all still screwed.
*Crafting when I can, enjoying it a lot.  Made a birthday present for my friend's daughter:
*Walking with the pups and Delilah almost every day.  Missed a few days because it was COLD!
*Looking into getting a jogging stroller so I can do couch 2 5K.
*Continuing to sell stuff on Etsy/Facebook.

I don't really have anything too new to report, other than we are just really happy.  I'm excited about the upcoming changes and new stuff that's going on.  New adventures await us in Kansas City and Germany.  I only hope that I am able to meet nice people right off the bat instead of having to sift through the nasties to get to the good ones!

I miss my friends Colsie and Elsa.  They are 2 of the best gals I know.

Time for this girl to go cuddle up in bed and read.  I'm on book 2 of Game of Thrones.
Seriously...if you haven't picked that up, you need to.  Also, what are you doing with your life?

Be bold, and mighty forces will come to your aid.

It's easy to have photo sessions every day when your daughter is this cute.

Seriously, I can't get enough of this girl.

Watching the games!

We're fans.

Self portrait before watching the games.

I freaking love my family.

Me and my girl.

Had to post this

Here is a glaring example of the type of person you encounter where I live.

Back story:
A girl was asking for help with home remedies for her dog that might have parvo.  She can't afford the vet's price.  Captain C merely said that home remedies don't always work and vets are expensive because of their knowledge and schooling.  It also takes time and money to figure out what is wrong.  This is what someone replied:

This is the same girl who got really aggressive with me about when I sent in pictures to Walmart.  I don't know if she is just an unhappy person or what, but this isn't the first time I've seen her get rude and over the top with someone.  Freaking ridiculous.  Calling someone a c**t?!  Seriously?  And then saying, "That bitch makes so much money....I hate her."  Sounds like jealousy to me.  If it's not, then she should keep it off a thread on a public forum.  That's immature and obnoxious.

Anyway, I had to screenshot it because it was so absurd.

Why hello again.

SUPER busy here lately.

I've been doing all sorts of crafts, selling stuff on Etsy, hanging out with my little lovie, and of course, Ben!  I've been going through the house, organizing and de-cluttering everything in preparation for our big move.  I know it's just October, but we're going to have to have the house packed up come January.  It's going to really sneak up on us.  I can't believe our time in New Mexico is coming to a close.  I'm sure I'll have a lot to say once we leave, but for now, I'm just going to try to get my thoughts about it all in order.

I'm really proud of my mom.  Today, she shared with me that she has forgiven (not forgotten) my aunt for the things that she did.  I know that it won't stop hurting anytime soon, especially because of everything my mom did for her and her family, but I know it must have been a huge weight off her chest to forgive.  As for me, I'd love to see my aunt when I move back.  I will feel better once I can tell her what I think of what happened.

Picture updates!
Silly family out to eat.

My camera ham daughter...realizing she's getting her picture taken and going from crying to smiling in 4 shots.

This man loves his cat.

My first Etsy sale, a series of paintings I'm doing called, "Home is Where Your Heart is."

Big girl, transitioning into her own bed!

This guy loves tug-o-war.

And again, just like to say hello to the people who read, but don't say hi. :)
