Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but this year's birthday just wasn't that exciting.
I am used to being home and having all my friends around me at a party, my mom and dad with me that day. Just wasn't the same this year.
We had a party last night, but no one actually knew it was my birthday until like 1am. Cool. Made me feel kind of crappy. Then I was supposed to pick my favorite place to go in town (Shoguns), but because no one else wanted it, I had to choose somewhere else. Cool. Nothing else special today, didn't even get to play The Game of Things. I'm actually pretty sad about it.
This was my golden birthday (26 on the 26th), and it was just another day.

one of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when people don't get to do whatever they want on their birthday. i feel like it's the only day you can be completely selfish! sorry it wasn't the best, but hey, there is always next year;)
