Boy oh boy, I have been super busy today!
I had to go on base to the grocery store to get stuff for the rest of the week/weekend, then pick up a dental form for my dentist to sign for us to PCS. Went home and put away the food and then had to drive into town to drop off the form at my dentist's office.
Came back home moved furniture, cleaned up the kitchen, vacuumed, mopped, dogs got out (luckily they played in the field and our neighbor found them...they're currently passed out on the floor dead asleep now), and I think that's it. I need to make dinner and hang pictures and then I think I'll be done for the night.
Talked to my mom today about my bitch ass uncle. He's such a douche to my aunt, and as soon as she leaves him, I'm sending that letter to him and I hope that my words and disgust resonate in the walls of his heart. I hope he realizes that he's lost everything.
I'm just waiting, now.
When you mess with one person in my family, you mess with all of us, and then things get REAL messy for you. If he wasn't such a douchey ass, I would feel sorry for him for what's coming to him. Unfortunately, he deserves it all.
Guests should be arriving in 2-3 hours, so I'm pretty excited!

Today was a bit rough.
Things I did today:
1. Cleaned (dusted and cleaned ALL wood surfaces in the house, kitchen, laundry, guest room, gave dogs a bath)
2. Cried (Freddy Mercrabby decided to be a murderer and kill John Lennoncrab for his shell. I know people will look at the situation like, "They're just crabs", but John was my pet and I'm sad he had to die that way. I feel really awful about it.)
3. Went to Hobby Lobby (Ben got me oil crayons and a sketchpad!)
4. Found 3 Sookie Stackhouse novels that I didn't have at Goodwill!
5. Ate dinner.
6. Cleaned up scrapbook stuff
7. Got a poster ready to be hung
8. Walked the dogs (while it was sprinkling! Man, they better know how much I love them!)
I don't think I've had an hour total where I was just sitting down. Ben and I are about to put together a collage frame we bought over the weekend, so hopefully those all turn out nicely!

Before I get started on my long list of "to dos" today, I'll share some pictures from babysitting.
My friends' son is now about 5 months old. They wanted to go watch Inception, I love babies, so I offered to babysit. They brought him over and took off.
Have I mentioned that I have a pit bull/korgi who is obsessed with babies?
I think we've got ourselves a good little watchdog/baby lover for when we have one of our own. I know that whenever that day arrives, that baby has a best friend waiting for him/her in dog form. Anyone who has problems with pits or pit mixes just needs to come over to my house and see what a responsible and loving owner can make out of a "dangerous" breed.

Baby James LOVED all the attention he was getting from Otis.
He probably stayed like this for 20 minutes while baby James played with toys and poked at Otis.
They were together almost the whole time. At one point, Otis had to go check out the guest window, but as soon as baby James made a noise, he came running back in to make sure he was OK.

Decent day-got a LOT done!
Woke up and got stuff DONE today.
Had 2 cups of delicious coffee out of my NEW coffee cups (part of a set we just got).
We didn't necessarily need it, but I saw it and wanted it really bad. I like it so much more than our old set.
Anyway, then I got probably 5 loads of laundry put through. I wanted to make sure everything was tidy before our guests got here.
Took my library books back (I'm on book 4 of the Sookie Stackhouse novels), took back Megan's hard drive, and got some stuff from the BX.
Got a phone call from my teacher friend, and I went and helped her decorate her classroom. She's been having stuff at home go on similar to my aunt, so I feel for her and wanted to help out as much as I could. (Honestly, both men need to keep their you-know-whats in their pants and quit trying to destroy their families.)
Came home, did more laundry, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the utility room, and continued to straighten things up. Worked out with Ben. I've done this workout before and finished it, but today was just really hard for me and I was having a hard time breathing. I kept feeling like I was going to throw up. Ben said to just stop then and it would be OK, but I really wanted to finish it. Cooled down afterwards by taking the dogs for a 40 minute walk. (They're both passed out right now).
I made delicious turkey tacos with homemade salsa for dinner and drank a PBR to go along with it. Watched our recorded True Blood, and now I'm just bumming around on the computer. I need to get up and finish the guest room, but Rilo is sleeping right behind me and I don't want to disturb her, ha.
Tomorrow's list of things to do:
1. Finish getting guest bed ready.
2. Give dogs baths.
3. Vacuum.
4. Mop.
5. Dust.
6. Get new scentsy scent in my warmer.
7. Wash all towels.
I'm sure there's more, but I'm exhausted.

Good day Saturday, Lazy day Sunday
Had a lot of fun yesterday in Amarillo.
Got my laptop turned into Best Buy. Stupid ass old man actually moved from behind me, went beside me, and actually CUT me while we were in line. Ben says, "You've GOT to be kidding me." Are we in second grade? His stuff wasn't even done, they weren't finished with it and hadn't called him about it. No idea why he was there or why he felt the need to CUT me in line. I told him he was rude. However, I did get my stuff turned in and everything is still under warranty! YAY!
Got my ring cleaned. Lady there was the same one who had helped me before and was rude again. Blew her off. I asked her what I should do since we'll be living in Japan to keep my warranty on my ring. She says (and this is no joke), "Oh, we have stores in the UK." I just looked at her all confused. I said, "Ok, but I'll be living in Japan, not England." She says (again, no exaggeration), "Well, they're pretty close." HAHAHAHA, I got a good laugh out of that one. Also, I thought people who worked in jewelry stores were supposed to be well groomed/dressed. There was one lady there who had on a skin tight see through white shirt. I could see her belly button and her skin and her lacy white bra. Not even a pretty lady either....haha, another good laugh.
Went to Victoria's Secret. Somehow, this one always manages to not have any small undies in the style that I like. How is that possible? I mean, I know it is a popular store, but this happens EVERY TIME I go to that particular one. I've seen the people in Amarillo...there aren't a lot of "smalls" out there. I did find a cute bra and had a $10 off coupon for it. HOLLER!
Left the mall (no Forever 21 in Amarillo) and drove over to Bed Bath and Beyond. Ben and I love that freaking store. Got a HUGE collage frame, a smaller collage frame, some new canisters for our kitchen (we're switching from green to all black and white), a dishsoap dispenser, some plinks, and I think that's it.
I tried to find some stuff at Old Navy, but the only "skinny" jeans they had were not skinny at all. They made my legs look enormous and the ankles weren't even tight. Pssh.
Went to PetSmart because we always like to bring back presents to our four leggers, and Ben had already picked out some stuff for Margot. Here's the haul we brought home for our babies:
Yeah, they're not spoiled at ALL....
Came home, went out and partied. Nothing exciting, so no pics to post.
Made a huge brunch today for Ben and our friend Brandon and then we watched Crazy Heart. Looks like a storm is rolling in which fits this Sunday mood of relaxing and staying in PERFECTLY. We don't really like to do anything on Sundays except have our big brunch.
Lots to do this week. Starting on Wednesday, we'll have company for a week and a half straight!

Heading to Amarillo Today!
Getting out of this tiny town for one day is ALWAYS a treat! We're gonna take my laptop to Best Buy to get looked at AGAIN.
Because apparently fixing things half assed is the way to do things there.

Cannon Appreciation Day?
Just got back not too long ago from the festivities on base...
Something the town puts on every year to show their support for the base and the economical value we have here. This town would be absolutely NOTHING without the support of the base...they would have less business and it would be ruled even more by the devious dairy farmers and the gangs.
So how do they thank us? Well, they have a raffle! Sounds fun, right? What kind of prizes did they offer?
A couple of these. ($20 at Walmart)
Some cheap looking plastic/wicker patio sets.
A few "nice" hoses.
Some tool sets.
A cooler.
Outdoor chairs.
A couple park benches.
A couple microwaves.
A cheap charcoal grill.
Some childrens' bikes.
And the one nice thing was a TV.
Is that really all you got, Clovis? For all the business that the base gives you, this is all you donate? I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but if you're going to put on an appreciation day, you might want to look like you appreciate us.
The military are in the community every day spending money and volunteering time and services to make this town less shitty. I've seen them on the sides of the highways picking up trash that the disgusting people who live here by choice throw out.
And THAT stuff is how you say thanks?
