Food and working out.

SUNDAY!  I love Sundays.  It's my day to wake up and relax with my sweet little family before hitting the gym for legs and butt.  Then...I get to go back home to my sweet family. It's pretty wonderful.
Keeping track of what we are doing in the gym now as well as what we are eating.  Time to get real serious.
This was our workout today. Would have ended with a HIIT 10 minute session, but we were both fatigued, and I was a bit dehydrated.  Solution by Ben, get a nice bottle to take to the gym.

Delilah and Ben have been spending some time together and it has been quite wonderful for their relationship.  I love it!

Ben is asleep right now, taking a nap before he has to wake up for the Superbowl.  See, as you all enjoy the game at a reasonable hour, us folks in Germany have to wait until 12:30am for kickoff.  Needless to say, I have no stakes in either team, so I will be sleeping through it.  Kinda stinks to not have a Superbowl party like we usually do, but I think living here in Europe is a fair trade most of the time.

Nothing too exciting going on for me this week.  I am going to REALLY try and dedicate some time cleaning out the craft room downstairs.  It's become a catchall for crap we don't want to go through, and it's a big waste of space right now.  I could move Delilah's kitchen and toys to that room and make the guest room less "kiddish" if I could just get in gear and get it cleaned out.

Weekly stuff going on:
German grocery store
Food prepping for the week
Baking with Delilah
Review A, B, C, Continue with D-H
Gym 2-3 times
Library
Register pets
Gymnastics
Dance
Craft room
Painting order

Possibly Star Wars monopoly this weekend!

And now...for the food:

Breakfast:
Waffle and strawberries
Greek yogurt with PB2&honey
Cereal

Lunch:
Quinoa salad (w/Greek yogurt, black beans, and avocado)
Breakfast quesedilla
Leftovers

Dinner:
BBQ chicken thighs (in crockpot)

Snacks:
Vitamix fruit "ice cream"

That's all I have in me to write right now.  I'm exhausted.  It's been a long, tiring week.

This is me, today.  5 months tomorrow!
I had a hard time falling asleep last night.  The baby was up and moving around and it was so awesome feeling it.  A couple times she punched/kicked/head butted me really hard, and one of those times, I had my hand on my belly and I felt it inside and out!

Phew.  I've been so busy today getting ready for our trip and what not.  So far, I have:

1. Talked to Mom about the shower.
2. Talked to Mary about the shower.
3. Confirmed my attendance at a showing of HP7 in MO.
4. Paid bills that are not automatically debited.
5. Emailed the person in charge of the graduate school at ENMU.
6. Done 3 loads of laundry.
7. Ate lunch.
8. Cleaned the kitchen.
9. Wrote a note to the person watching our house.
10. Had an interview for a position at a school.
11. Continued the list of things to NOT forget to bring.
12. Let our friend's dogs out while they are not in town.

And I still have stuff to do:
1. Give dogs baths.
2. Vacuum house.
3. Dust house.
4. Mop house.
5. Clean bathroom.
6. Finish laundry.
7. Pack.

See?  What did I tell you?  I'm a busy girl!

Wow.

To say that I have been busy would be an understatement.  Between getting really mad at the people on base who have YET AGAIN effed up our paperwork. (They've supposedly sent it out-after not sending it for a month and not telling us they didn't), working, selling our car, figuring out the pet paperwork, taking pictures of our belongings for the move, and constantly having to do housework...I haven't had a lot of spare time.  No wonder I haven't been sleeping well.  I wish I could have a day where I didn't have to worry about anything or anyone.  Ben says, "Don't worry!", but that doesn't help because I will still worry.  I don't want to just brush things off and hope it falls into place.  You have to trust God and work for what you need done.

Friday night marked the last time I will see my good friend, Katie, for who knows how long.  She's in a class for the AF in San Antonio and won't be back until after I leave for Japan.  What better way to celebrate a friendship than have a girls' night with wine, fruits, and cheeses?  (Not to mention gabbing and gossip with a bunch of other girlfriends!)  I may or may not have drank a bottle of my favorite wine (yummy, Nobilo!)

Yeah, that's a lot of wine there on the table...

I'm not up for tackling the kitchen pictures today (since I'm the only one who does the dishes and household shopping and cleaning of the area) because it's filthy.  We haven't had dishsoap in 2 days and instead of doing dishes by hand like I did twice yesterday, the sink just got fuller for me today.  BLAH.

Anyway, I'm off to go take care of things.

My little family makes me happy.

It's another lazy Sunday in the Ward house....although, Ben has the mow the lawn and has a draft for fantasy football tonight.  I'm probably going to turn on The Soup and start making breakfast here in just a bit (after my coffee, please...let's get our priorities straight!)
I need to get the laundry done (blech), I need to start taking pictures and documenting everything we own for when the movers come. (I'll probably do that when Ben goes to his draft)  I also need to finish Colsie's painting for her.

Ben and I went to Bath and Body Works last night to pick up some candles (2 for $20!!!) because I also had a 20% off coupon.  He loves fall scents the most, so I grabbed leaves and he picked out pumpkin patch.  Spiced cider is burning in my house right now, and it feels like a fall day.  I don't want to go outside yet and ruin the illusion of cool crisp weather...cause it looks quite warm out my window.

That's about all for now, hope everyone has a fantastic Labor Day.  I plan on sleeping in.

I thought this weekend was going to be a bit more exciting.  I also thought Ben and I were going to go out on a date, but that didn't happen.  Friday we went out with people, Saturday we stayed in until we went to Heather and Dustin's. I thought we were going to go do something beforehand, but I'm not going to be a nag.  Thought something was gonna be going on tonight, but now that no one wants to do anything, we're just going to sit at home and watch a movie, apparently.  I've been home all day long.  I've cleaned all day and just got done taking pictures and recording his Nintendo games as part of my preparation for the movers.  I'm effing bored.
I'm just slightly frustrated.

Decent day-got a LOT done!

Woke up and got stuff DONE today.

Had 2 cups of delicious coffee out of my NEW coffee cups (part of a set we just got).

We didn't necessarily need it, but I saw it and wanted it really bad.  I like it so much more than our old set.

Anyway, then I got probably 5 loads of laundry put through.  I wanted to make sure everything was tidy before our guests got here.

Took my library books back (I'm on book 4 of the Sookie Stackhouse novels), took back Megan's hard drive, and got some stuff from the BX.

Got a phone call from my teacher friend, and I went and helped her decorate her classroom.  She's been having stuff at home go on similar to my aunt, so I feel for her and wanted to help out as much as I could.  (Honestly, both men need to keep their you-know-whats in their pants and quit trying to destroy their families.)

Came home, did more laundry, cleaned the kitchen, cleaned the utility room, and continued to straighten things up.  Worked out with Ben.  I've done this workout before and finished it, but today was just really hard for me and I was having a hard time breathing.  I kept feeling like I was going to throw up.  Ben said to just stop then and it would be OK, but I really wanted to finish it.  Cooled down afterwards by taking the dogs for a 40 minute walk.  (They're both passed out right now).

I made delicious turkey tacos with homemade salsa for dinner and drank a PBR to go along with it.  Watched our recorded True Blood, and now I'm just bumming around on the computer.  I need to get up and finish the guest room, but Rilo is sleeping right behind me and I don't want to disturb her, ha.

Tomorrow's list of things to do:
1. Finish getting guest bed ready.
2. Give dogs baths.
3. Vacuum.
4. Mop.
5. Dust.
6. Get new scentsy scent in my warmer.
7. Wash all towels.

I'm sure there's more, but I'm exhausted.

I'm going to make a million dollars

...when I invent something that lets you see the fantasy world that people live in.  The people who are completely in denial...I mean, who wouldn't want to see if they're crazy, or if they're just not aware of anything going on.

Taught my first day of camp.  It wasn't too bad, however, the director is a crazy biatch.  She's in a mood all the time, and is completely disorganized.  I felt bad for all the kids and parents who had to deal with her today.

Watched the newest episode of True Blood.  I LOVE Eric.  He is so handsome...and tall...and scary!

It was a good episode tonight, minus the king stuff.
Gotta work out tonight, but I'm totally exhausted after working, then coming home to a super messy kitchen and having to make dinner, start laundry, AND walk the dogs.  UGH.

I have a feeling that this post will turn out grumpy, so I'm just going to end it here.

EDIT:
I couldn't stay away for long.  Let me vent some frustration a bit.

Things I'm tired of:
1. Repeating myself to EVERYONE.
2. Picking up after my husband.
3. Cleaning the kitchen every damn night.
4. Not being heard.
5. When what I say goes in one ear and out the other.

Yeah.  Lately, it doesn't matter what I say, because I'll hear an "OK" (and this is seriously from almost everyone) and then nothing changes at all.
I don't know why I keep trying.
